Hey there, I’m Arty! I used to sit behind a desk with a view of… well, not much, really. My office job just wasn’t cutting it for me—there wasn’t nearly enough water involved! I knew I needed a life closer to the ocean, so I traded in my suit and tie for a wetsuit and fins and started traveling the world to dive.

It all began in 2018 when I became a divemaster. Since then, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to dive in some of the most beautiful waters around the globe. My journey started in Indonesia, but soon I was hopping continents and exploring underwater worlds in different countries. Each dive was more magical than the last, and I felt like I was getting closer to where I truly belonged.

Finally, I found my place here in Bonaire, often called “divers’ paradise,” and I’ve been living here since 2021. I’ve worked with some great dive companies on the island, but eventually, I decided to take the plunge and start my own business. My company is named after a nickname I got from some of my guests—because nothing beats diving with friends, right?

Now, I’m a private dive guide, doing what I love every day, sharing the beauty of this incredible ocean with people from all over the world. I’m still the biggest fan of the underwater world and everything that lives in it. Bonaire is special; it’s a place where the ocean seems to breathe with life, and I get to call it my “new office.”
